Dan McNelis is the Managing Director of Oxygen Architecture. He is a NZ and UK registered Architect who has called Aotearoa home for over 10 years. Originally from Scotland, Dan studied and practised Architecture in the UK before immigrating to New Zealand in 2011.

During his career Dan has built up a strong knowledge of health, community, commercial and residential architecture, always with a focus on creating healthy, sustainable environments of the future – what he refers to as ‘healthy human spaces’.

Oxygen Architecture is pleased to announce that manufacturing is underway on our latest off-site manufactured (OSM) volumetric modular apartment project.

This pioneering development is our largest multi-unit volumetric modular apartment development to date and is being constructed by Evergreen Modular at their production facility in Auckland. Once manufacturing is completed in July, the first modules will be delivered to site in Hendon Avenue, Owairaka.

Design Partners Architects is proud to announce that it has officially rebranded as Oxygen Architecture. Managing Director and Registered Architect Dan McNelis joined Design Partners in December 2019 and under his direction the team has expanded both in capability and experience, so a fresh new look and feel was desired to take this burgeoning practice into its next iteration.
